EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON FLEXURAL BEHAVIOR OF RECYCLED AGGREGATE CONCRETE BEAM
In this paper, based on experimental study on 7 recycled concrete prisms whole stress-strain curves and 4 simply-supported recycled concrete beams with same size, same percentage of reinforcement and the same water/cement ratio but different replacement ratio of recycled coarse, we fitted the stressstrains equation, derived the coefficients α1, β1 and got the flexural formula of recycled concrete beam, studied the deformation characteristics and analyzed the influence of recycled coarse aggregate replacement on the flexural capacity of recycled concrete beam, the following conclusions are drawn: the whole stress-strain curve of recycled concrete can be adopted as twostep expression; similar with ordinary concrete, the average strain measured on cross-section of recycled aggregate concrete beam obliges to the plane cross-section assumption. The values calculated by the formula in this paper is well consistent with the experimental results, and the results calculated by present code for Design of Concrete Structures (GB5001022002), it still can be used.
