ANALYSIS OF LATERAL RESTRAINTS ON RC FRAME BEAMS STRENGTHENED WITH EXTERNAL PRESTRESSING TENDON

Finite element analysis model of RC frame beams strengthened with external prestressing tendon is established, in which prestressing force is loaded by cooling method. Based on the nonlinear analysis, the practicability of the experimental data is verified, and then the mechanical performance and increment of RC frame beams strengthened with external prestressing tendon are discussed. At last, the restraint mechanism between frame column and frame beam being strengthened is put forward.
