PLASTIC-DAMAGE MODEL FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE SHEAR WALLS
In this paper, a plastic-damage model for reinforced concrete shear walls is presented. This model is a distributed plasticity model in which the plasticdamage constitutive law is used to describe the nonlinear response and the damage mechanics of the reinforced concrete shear walls under external forces. The distributed plasticity model with two plasticity distribution domains at its ends describes the reduction in stiffness and strength caused by the cracking of concrete and the yielding of reinforcement. In addition, the proposed model takes into account the effect of shear deformation under bending moment. At the same time, the stiffness matrix with the damage index for damaged reinforced concrete shear walls is deduced. At last, a numerical simulation of experimental test is carried out to verify the rationality and applicability of the proposed model.
