MODAL ANALYSIS ON VIBRATION BEHAVIOR OF COLD-FORMED STEEL CONCRETE COMPOSITE FLOOR
This paper analyses the vibration behavior of coldformed steel composite floors by using the ANSYS finite element method. Through analysis of the experimental model, finite element modal results agree well with test results. Under the cases of the characteristic combination of loads, the research analyzes the effects to the fundamental frequency of composite floor by changing the parameters, such as end constraints, thickness of the joist or concrete composite slabs, profiled steel sheet type, joists spacing, and floor width. The results of finite element analysis show that the effects to the fundamental frequency of composite floor are large by changing the thickness of the joist, the floor end constraints, and joists space, but the effects are very small when the thickness of concrete composite slabs, profiled steel sheet type, or floor width is changed. So when designing the composite floors, the profiled steel sheet of smaller wave height and wave distance is suggested, the space of screws should accord with the profiled steel sheet type. And the space between the joists of composite floor had better smaller than 600mm.
