DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF DESULFURIZATION TOWER UNDER DIFFERENT SEISMIC INPUT ANGLES USING SHAKING TABLE TEST
The dynamic behavior of a desulfurization tower is tested using shaking table with a 1:15 scaled steel model to simulate the impacts caused by the earthquakes. The dynamic characteristics of the model have been analyzed. The responses of acceleration peak have been studied on the sine wave and earthquake wave in various angles. The results show that the influence of input angles of excitation wave can not be ignored. And the complexity of thin-wall desulfurization tower can affect the dynamic characteristics of the structure to a great extent. It can provide the experimental basis for the theoretical research of the large thin-wall heterotypic structure.
