CFD ANALYSIS OF FIRE CHARACTERISTICS ON URBAN SUBWAY STATION WITH PLATFORM SHIELD DOOR SYSTEM
This paper constructed a fire simulation model for urban subway station with platform shield door system and carried out corresponding simulation analysis with the CFD software of FDS (Fire Dynamic Simulator). Different fire scenarios were set up according to the practical subway station environment. Some fire distribution properties, such as temperature, carbon monoxide concentration, visibility and the effect of platform shield doors to the ventilation speed at the entrance of the stair were analyzed. Hence, the relevant data could be more reliable and the simulation result is quite useful for fire safety design and management of urban subway station.
