Practice of TnPM in China
There is almost no successful case of TPM in China, why? In the final analysis, is due to the conflict between enterprise discipline and Chinese traditional habit, and culture. Hence, in 1998, Professor Li baowen raised another way of TPM, named as Total Normalized Productive Maintenance i.e., TnPM,. It is now installed in more than 100 Chinese companies and has obtained delightful achievement. Four “total, five “six framework, and six pillars are included in TnPM. On the base of 6S and autonomous maintenance, TnPM created the systematic scheme of maintenance, i.e. SOON flow, structure of employee growing with the enterprise, FROG, as well as the five-rank six-dimension audit system and the computer aided software. TnPM creates a scientific, feasible man-machine managerial arena.
