RESEARCH AND APPLICATION OF CURVE FITTING BASED ON CUBIC B-SPLINE WITH ADAPTIVE SHAPE PARAMETERS

摘要：

A curve fitting method of cubic B-spline with adaptive shape parameters is proposed, and applied to generate the curve outline of Jiaguwen automatically.Combined with the nature of the local shape parameters of cubic B-spline, firstly the control points of uniform cubic B-spline which transit the pre-set feature points is computed, and then the local shape parameters whose total distance error is smallest to the discrete points is obtained using the least square method,finally the cubic B-spline curve fitting is performed according to the control points and shape parameter.
