A RESEARCH ON PREDICTING E-BUSINESS ADOPTION IN SMALL-TO-MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES
When entering 21 century,Information technology is widely applied to predicting a variety of behaviors for large enterprises, its use, however,in dealing with predicting e-business intentions in the small-to-medium-sized enterprises and in developing countries is very limited. The e-business is applied to the model intentions to adopt e-business among 500 managers of small-to-medium-sized enterprises in China. The regression results show that the subjective norm and attitude constructs positively and significantly predict intentions, but the perceived behavioral control construct does not. Results can be used by developing countries, especially those in China, to encourage the adoption of e-business for the small-to-medium-sized enterprises.
