DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF MEASUREMENT AUTOMATION SYSTEM IN THE PROCESS OF PRODUCT SHIPMENT FOR PROCESS INDUSTRIES

The paper proposes a solution of automatic measurement system in the process of product shipment for process industries according to its features of production process and product.It is developed by Object-Oriented Analysis Design (OOAD) method combined with image recognition technology, and is carried out in a petrolchemical enterprise as an example.The solution which is based on the ISA-95 functional model links the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and the Process Control System (PCS) in the manufacturing execution layer.It builds up a platform which gets measurement management,shipment administration,order processing (procurement) and financial works together, and provides data of product measurement on the enterprise border for Manufacturing Execution System accurately.
