Model Transformation Method in Dynamic Response Calculation of Non-uniform Random Fields
Most environmental loads are non-uniform spatiotemporal random fields, which can not be directly divided to field elements. It restricts the usage of SFEA (Stochastic Finite Element Analysis) and makes the dynamical response calculation difficult. The authors propound a model transformation based method that rewrites the sample function of a non-uniform random field as a determinate function multiplied by a sample function of a uniform field, i.e., uniforms the non-uniform random field model. Then we can divide the new field model by employing local average methods to introduce SFEA. In this way, we have transformed the response analysis of non-uniform fields to the calculation of steady stochastic vibrations. The model transformation method enhances the efficiency of dynamical response analysis and adapts to different precision requests, so it implies great theoretical and practical merits.
