Studies on Seasonal Cooling Storage and Release of the Building Energy Piles System
This paper studied on seasonal cooling storage and release of the building energy piles system. The intention of energy piles installation design was to inject cooling extracted from atmosphere into soil around the energy piles through the water circulation via cooling tower in winter and cooling released from the soil in summer to floor, ceiling or other terminal units, that is seasonal energy storage and release. Firstly the cooling storage simulation model was established by the TRNSYS software. Then the annual cooling charge was simulated with the just verified mathematical model. The simulation results of cooling release by AHU and the cooling floor and the preliminary economic evaluation of the seasonal cooling storage and release were also put forward.
