Simulation and Analysis of the Cooling and Energy Saving Technology of One All-glass-wall Atrium in Hot-summer and Cold-winter Areas
Concerning the high temperature in one all-glass-wall atrium, and to explore the best cooling and energy saving proposals, this article analyzed the impact of different factors upon temperature by comparing 18 cases of different boundary conditions by applying computational fluid dynamic technology (CFD) and orthogonal test method (OTM). Results of this study are as followings: 1, Impact of factors: outdoor climate > nature ventilation > outer sun-shading > heat transfer of outer-glass-wall > indoor mechanical ventilation > heat transfer of inter-glass-wall; 2, Natural ventilation and outer sun-shading technologies were more effective in this example, and available for reference in hot-summer and cold-winter areas.
