Optimization Study on Cold Source of Central Air Conditioning in Residential Buildings
Comparing cold and heat source is important component to research the feasibility of air conditioning, is a typical multiple objective decision-making. The reasonable selection of evaluation indexes is the key factor for the guarantee of proper optional selection. In this work, the best cold source scheme of central air conditioning in residential buildings were researched. By means of a actual project in Ningbo, a comparison was taken on the economy for three cold source schemes of central air conditioning, including conventional screw chiller, direct-fired lithium bromide absorption chiller (DFLBAC) and residential central air conditioning system (variable refrigerant volume). Results show that, the investment of conventional screw chiller is lower than that of other. From annual cost, DFLBAC is higher than that of the electric air conditioning, because the civil electric price is low, and the nattual gas price is higher in Ningbo. The screw chiller is still in advantageous position. Howerer, as world energy revolution advances, gas direct-fired lithium bromide chiller will be a major energy source for some developed metropolises in China, and the use of gas cooling should be accordingly expand in next futrue.
