Improvement of Hydrophilicity of Porous PVDF Membranes with LiCI Additives

Porous PVDF membranes blended with LiC1 were prepared through phase inversion method to obtain good substrates for air dehumidification. Water contact angle measurement, vapor adsorption test and permeation test were used to evaluate the hydrophilicity and the moisture permeability. All these measures demonstrated that the addition of LiC1 can improve the hydrophilicity of PVDF membranes substantially, and then enhancing the moisture permeation performance.
