Energy Consumption Analysis of a Liquid Desiccant Air-conditioning System for Industrial Buildings
Some industrial buildings demand more accurately control of indoor temperature, humidity ratio as well as indoor air quality, comparing with commercial buildings. The energy consumption performance of new kind of liquid desiccant air-conditioning system (LDCS) applied in industrial building is compared with the conventional air-conditioning system. The systematic coefficient of performance COPs is 5.42 and 2.94 for LDCS and conventional air conditioning system respectively. The LDCS shows better energy-saving potential in the industrial buildings.
