Optimization Design of Waste Heat Driven Two-stage LiBr-H2O Absorption Refrigerator with Heat Pipe
Considering the complicity of the design of absorption refrigerator, an optimal design models on the heat pipe generator and the waste heat driven two-stage LiBr-H2O absorption refrigerator with heat pipe were established and relevant codes were developed in this work. The optimum program focused on exploring the maximum heat transfer performance of the heat pipe regenerator and the maximum refrigeration capacity of the absorption refrigerator. Base on the optimization program, some important design parameters were analyzed and the results indicated that optimization could improve significantly the performance of the system and reduce the design time.
