Characteristic and Performance simulation of the heat pump part of a new solar assisted air-source heat pump system heating system

To further improve the utilization efficiency of solar energy and performance of solar assisted heat pump heating system, we propose a new heating mode of solar assisted air-source heat pump and focused on the research about the characteristic and performance of the heat pump part of this new heating system. Based on the 10kW air-source heat pump designed by us, we have built the mathematical model of this system, through which, the rules of the characteristic and performance was concluded from the simulation analysis with different environment temperatures and output water temperatures. The results showed that the performance of heat pump has been greatly improved based on new solar assisted air-source heat pump heating system. When the environment temperature was 7℃, the COP of the air-source heat pump could be increased by 26% at most. This paper set up the base for further study on the heating system with this new solar assisted air-source heat pump in the heating season.
