Analysis of Influencing Factors on Thermal Load Characteristics of Office Building Envelopes in China
In this paper, affecting factors on thermal load characteristics of office building envelopes in China is focused. The location of an analytical office building model is selected in Beijing area. Some affecting factors of building pattern on summer cooling load of office building envelopes are selected, such as orientation of buildings, area ratio of window to wall, characteristics of window, dimensions of shade, characteristics of extemal wall, characteristics of roof etc.. EnergyPlus software issued by U.S.A is employed to do the simulation of building cooling load in summer. The effect analysis of different combination of all affecting factors has been done by orthogonal experimental method. From this work, the changing trend of cooling load of a typical office building with the change of each affecting factor can be obtained and presented. The optimal combination scheme of the affecting factors with the minimum building cooling load can also be obtained. Furthermore, the affecting notability of each affecting factor can be analyzed and selected. These works are very important to give us a guidance to do a building design that has the characteristics of high energy efficiency and low energy consumption. In this paper, a comparison analysis of summer cooling load among three typical office room patterns in Beijing has been also done.
