Simulation Study on Combustion System of Tankless Gas Water Heater
Using CFD simulation to develop tankless gas water heater is a trend to shorten design period and save cost in soft tooling expense and testing resources. The paper simulates a combustion system of regular tankless water heater, which contains cases with different static pressure conditions. This work reveals the pressure/air impact on carbon monoxide (CO) generation and its influence on temperature and velocity field.
