Ezperimental Study of a Low-temperature Electrical Radiant Floor Heating System
An experimental facility of one temperaturecontrolled room and three different specimen floors has been built. An electrically heated cable has been installed in the floor slab to heat the floor. The facility serves for the measurement and analysis of the thermal performance of the electrical radiant floor heating system. Twenty-four different schemes were tested and evaluated, including three kinds of floor structures and eight kinds of cable distances. By settling the experimental data of the whole process, the comprehensive comparison results are educed. The main factors that influence the result of electrical radiant floor heating system are found, and how these factors influence the system is also analyzed. The result is of guidance for the design, construction and operation of this sort of system.
