Parametric Optimization on a Power System for a Micro-CCHP System

A micro-CCHP system which can synchronously supply cooling capacity, heating capacity and electricity, mainly comprises a power system, a heat recovery system and a refrigeration system. As the core of this micro-CCHP system, the power system chiefly consists of an internal-combustion engine, generator/motor, inverter/converter, battery bank and a power distribution system. To optimize the thermal efficiency and emissions of the power system, an economical zone, in which the engine mainly provides medium output load at medium speed, is originally advanced. Based on the experimental data and mathematical model of the engine, the boundary of this economical zone is further demarcated. After analyzing the energy transforming process and models of the power system in different operating modes, the parameter matching of the power system is optimized according to transmission ratios of the gear box in the power distribution system.
