Quantities Appraisal of Renewable Energy Resource and Energy Saving for Buildings

Energy resources and their utilization intimately relate to sustainable development. The utilization of renewable energy offers a wide range of exceptional benefits. Renewable energy resources (RERs) are inexhaustible and offer many environmental benefits compared to conventional energy sources. The assessment of RERs is the basic step before considering the utilization of them. The paper introduces the methods of Quantities appraisal of solar energy, wind energy, biomass energy resources and shallow geothermal energy respectively, which can provide basic data for community energy planning.
