A Study of the Heat Pipes Equipped Heat Ezchanger that Works in the Saturated Humid Air
A large amount of air, saturated, humid, at low temperature (about 60 degree centigrade), is released directly to the environment, which is a waste of energy as well as contamination of the environment. This paper studies the use of heat pipe heat exchanger to recycle this kind of energy and the discussion of the feasibility, which consists of the prediction of the heat transfer power of the heat pipe, the chosen of the working fluid and the chosen of the material of the heat pipe; the corruption and the malfunction at the dew point during the rtmning period of heat pipe heat exchanger. Base on the principle of the lowest cost which consists of the equipment cost and the operation cost, an analysis for the heat pipes equipped heat exchanger is presented in this paper, which is used in the in the classic situation of the Textile Drying Industry. Within its longevity, it is concluded literally to recycle the low-grade energy that origins from the saturated humid air by the using of heat pipes equipped heat exchanger is economical even though the logarithmic temperature difference is little compared to that in the common situation.
