Ezperimental Thermal Performance of a Novel Solar-Air Source Heat Pump System for Domestic Water Heating
Experimental study was performed on a novel directexpansion solar-air souree heat pump system for domestie water heating, in which a collector/evaporator using spiral-finned tubes could absorb heat from both solar radiation and ambient air. The prototype was tested for heating water from ambient temperature to 550C on both sunny days and overcast days. Furthermore, the effects of solar radiation, ambient air temperature and relative humidity on the systems performance were analyzed.
