Ezperimental Study on a Small-scale Domestic Diffusion-Absorption Refrigerator
What presented here is about the experimental investigation of an electrical driven household diffusion-absorption refrigerator (HDAR). Based on the experimental machine, results of theoretical models done by other researchers are presented. Experiments are carried out on the fine-designed experimental set and parameters such as temperatures of the main parts and refrigeration capacities during starting and steady operating processes are measured, analyzed and compared with theoretical results when the input power varies from 45W to 80W. Experiments show that the investigated HDAR can operate well with input power varying from 60W to 80W. The normal generating temperature is about 140~160℃ with absorbing and condensing temperatures varying in the ranges of 28~36℃ and 33~41 ℃, respectively. The corresponding coefficients of performance (COPs) varies in the range of 0.191~0.297. Furthermore, the variation characteristics of the temperatures of generator and solution heat exchanger in the starting period of HDAR are analyzed briefly.
