Research on Non-equilibrium of Economic Development Among Leagues and Cities of Inner Mongolia

Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is an important method to evaluate the efficiency of economic development, the weights of traditional DEA model are with non-negative and no other restrains, it actually selects the optimal weight for decision-making unit to be evaluated, so the results may not accord to the objective reality. In this paper, the DEA model with weight restrain and with output only is given. Through taking the data of gross domestic product, per capita GDP, per capita gross industrial output value, per capita revenue and per capita total retail sale of consumer goods of twelve leagues and cities of Inner Mongolia as the outputs, the model is applied to evaluate the economic development of each year from 2001 to 2007, the non-equilibrium among leagues and cities of Inner Mongolia is researched.
