The Evaluation and Empirical Study on the Firms Assets Quality
The operation of a business is in some degree the operation procedure of its assets. So a businesss quality should be reflected by its assets quality. It is theoretically and practically important to discuss the evaluation and the improvement of the assets quality. By studying the assets quality related literature at home and abroad, the paper analyzes the concept of businesses assets quality and draws a conclusion that existence, effectiveness, profitability and security are the four basic characteristics of assets quality, and establishes the evaluation system base on them. In the mean time, the paper takes the listed household appliance industry in China as samples to conduct the descriptive statistics analysis for the asset quality characteristic ratio, and make empirical analysis though the principal component analysis to find relevant problems for assets quality. It then recommends corresponding countermeasures on how to improve the assets quality.
