A Comparative Study on Human Capital Differences Among Chinas Four Belts
The comparisons of human capital in stock, structure and flow rate among four belts show that there exist obvious human capital differences. By following Solows neo-classical growth model, the regression inspection based on panel data is performed, and the inspection results testify that human capital significantly affects the economic growth through the approach of total factor productivity showing that human capital plays an important role on the regional economic disparity. Some suggestions for government are derived at last, which include continuing to expand basic education fund to the backward areas, making education market open to different institutions and trying to innovate incentive system in backward belts.
