Correlation and Influential Factors Between Intellectual Property Capability and Performance: An Empirical Analysis in Sichuan

摘要：

When the development elements, such as human capital, land, energy and environment, become increasingly strained, intellectual property (IP) capability,which is the basis of independent innovation, become the key point of enhancing the of independent innovation. In the context of globalization, with the questionnaire data of 118 firms from Sichuan, a west province of China, this paper empirically analyzes the correlation and influential factor between IP capability and performance in Sichuan. By the means of multivariate statistical analysis and structural equation model, we draw the conclusion that there was a significant positive correlativity between IP capability and performance of firms in Sichuan. Simultaneously, the factors that sources of competitiveness, scale and industry affect the correlation between IP capability and performance of firms in Sichuan.
