An Evaluation System for the Sustainable Supply of Copper in China

In order to guarantee the sustainable supply of copper and to build a framework of the sustainable evaluation system of the non-ferrous mineral resources, the indicators selected principles are used. In this paper, a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods are used, through the establishment of mathematical model, based on the indicators selected principles, such as, systematic, scientific, space-time nature, operability, dynamic nature, effectiveness, equity, sustainability, to build a comprehensive and reasonable sustainable evaluation system. It is cover of copper metal, mineral products, alternatives, renewable products and import and export of copper products that reflect the sustainable supply of copper. This evaluation system has the analysis and forecast, evaluation and pre-warning function.
