Hybrid Engineering Fuzzy Set Theory (EFST) and Set Pair Analysis(SPA) Modeling for Water Quality Evaluation
Uncertainties are ubiquitous in water quality assessment and management. The generalized connexion entropy and the generalized relative membership degree are defined. Two models are established for water quality evaluation. One is onelevel model based on Set Pair Analysis (SPA), the other is hybrid two-level model based on SPA and Engineering Fuzzy Set Theory (EFST). The models are applied to 12 lakes in China. The results show that the proposed models are effective tools for generating realistic and flexible solutions for complicated water quality evaluation issues. In addition, the proposed models are adaptable for diagnosing the eutrophic status.
