Hazard Evaluation and Numerical Simulation of Leakage and Diffusion for Continuous Point Source Gases
In view of the fact that the unexpected leakage accidents of hazardous chemicals happen frequently, a diffusion model of continuous point source gases leakage is presented. The methodology is exemplified through its application on the hazard evaluation of a liquid ammonia tank leakage accident. A detailed technical model simulating the distribution of leakage gas concentration numerically is developed, along with a detailed model simulating the hazardous distance and emergency response zones. Both the simulation and evaluation results could be scientific evidence and theoretical guidance in evacuating the crowd efficiently and taking emergency rescue strategy during leakage accidents.
