Medical Resources Demand Model for Urban Seismic Disaster Response and Its GIS Implementation
After a catastrophic earthquake, one of the most important missions is medical aid. And an efficient emergency medical resources analysis model can help emergency managers to make and carry out rapid response plans, in this paper, a theoretical medical resources demand model for urban seismic disaster response is proposed according to casualtycollection point coefficient and coverage area. Furthermore, a case of medical resources demand model based on GIS is implemented and verified. The results show the model could be useful in practice.
