Property Insurance in Risk Regions of Debris Flows

This paper takes the Mohong basin as a case study to analyze the insurance premium of debris-flow disaster in the basin. Based on the risk assessment, this paper adopts the principal-agent theory and uses the risk degree of debris flow as an important index to build the insurance model. And the insurance model based on the principal-agent theory is got, i.e. δ=P/pT InRe(p△T) + (1-R).The premium of Mohong basin is calculated as 3.205%. with that model. Finally, this paper has some discussion on the model and mechanism of property insurance in risk regions of debris flows, which aims to provide a new idea and technical support for insurance company to participate in the disaster prevention and reduction.
