Data Mining of Maritime Accidents at Coastal Area
Since there have a series factors which caused ship accidents and whether to analyze the relevance between the causes and the consequences of the accidents as well as to find its rule will have a direct influence on the efficiency of the maritime safety management. The Association Rules technique is applying into the risk factors analysis of maritime safety; tries to search for the frequent item sets and rules come from the cause and consequences of the accidents in order to find the latent rule of the accident cause, which will provides the scientific basis for the maritime safety management. The results indicated that the element of the seafarers and natural are the most frequently factors that influences the accidents and the occurrence of the ship collision.
