Three dimensional potential flow using nonlinear isoparametric element

In the boundary element method, linear and nonlinear elements for the geometry and quantity are very important in the numerical precision results when the boundaries have curvature. In this paper, the integral forms of the fundamental solution of the Laplaces equation is analyzed using linear and quadratic elelements. When the degree of the quantity and geometry of the element are the same it is known isoparametric elements. Numerical results of the potential are determined for the sphere and ellipsoid and they are shown with analytical results.
