An intelligent analysis and optimization design system of truss structure

An intelligent creating and optimization system of trusses is established. It can complete the course of generating, calculating and optimizing of trusses automatically. The specified truss, or an arbitrary truss structure satisfying design requirement can be generated automatically by the topological variation method. Simultaneously, the analysis of structure can be accomplished. If needed, the optimization design involves size, shape, topology and layout can further be fulfilled selectively. Examples show this proposed system has good performance and is easy to operate. The system is characterized with intelligence and self-adaptive ability. The intelligent design process from initial design to optimum design of truss structure is realized.
