Development of BEM for load distribution of roller bearing of rolling mill

The four-row roller bearing used in the mill has a big width. When it is being used, the load distribution of the bearing is uneven because of the micro dimensional deflection of the roll, so the life of the bearing is shortened times. Some scholars have done researches on the problem. It is proved that BEM is a feasible method to solve the three dimensional load distribution of the roller bearing. In the paper, the development of BEM for load distribution of roller bearing is discussed.
