Interval Eztension and Its Treatment Methods in Interval Finite Element Method

The interval correlation results in the interval extension, that will bright difficulties to the calculation of the practical problems. In this paper, the truncation method of the interval extension is introduced and its difficulties of application are discussed; a computing order method for interval extension is provided; a subinterval perturbation method and sub-interval combination methods are putted forward to deal with the interval extension problem. That the sub-interval perturbation method can converge to the true solution is explained in theory. It can be seen the proposed method is reasonable by some easy examples.
