Point Relazation Method of The Problem of The Elasto-plastic Torsion of a Cylindrical Bar

摘要：

It is difficult to solve the equation of the Elasto-plastic torsion of a cylindrical bar directly.Because of this,we turn it into the equivalent variational problem.Then we solve this variational problem by point relaxation methods. We can identify the impact of every parameters in the method on the results of convergence through a detailed analysis of numerical results.And it shows that relaxation methods have greater advantages than the other numerical methods solving the elliptic variational problems.
