Reconstruction of a Residential Building Fire Based on Large Eddy Simulation
Computer numerical simulation method was applied to the fire reconstruction and FDS (Fire Dynamics Simulator) was used to the research of a residential building fire. With the report of the fire scene investigation, the model of simulation was established. The result of simulation gave the development of fire and the change of temperature. Compared with the investigation report, the simulation result is proved reasonable. A set of different fire scenes is used in the simulation to explain the reason of the fast fire development.
