The Method of Decreasing the Branch Circuit Electrical Fire Risk and Prevention Test
According to the statistic data of recent four years, the electrical fire is the No.1 reason in all fire accidents happened in China. Comparing with the situation in developed countries, there is very large difference, whose electrical expending quantity is much higher than ours but the electrical fire accidents quantity is much lower than ours. In this article, the writer analyzes the electrical fire reasons including circuit overload, short, bad connection and harmonic influence in the building branch circuits. Depending on related clauses in foreign and national electrical codes and talking about crafts, devices, testers used in practice projections, special for the advanced technology used by developed countries, the electrical fire prevention propositions are given in this article for branch circuit installing, verification, repair and maintenance. Also, the writer points out the defects in the electrical codes which are being used present in China. The article emphasizes to decrease the building electrical fire harms with prevention method, the prevention is the first step to prevent fire and should be done by using proper devices, installing crafts and test methods. This is the only way to eliminate drastically building electrical fire risk and use electrical safely.
