Load and Response Analysis of Tilting Rotor by Using Wake Bending Unsteady Dynamic Inflow Model

The traditional quasi-steady assumption model can not reflect the unsteady aerodynamic problems in the tilting of rotor. The CFD method based on the vortex theory can get better results, but it consumes a lot of computing resources. In this paper, the load and response of tilting rotor by using a wake bending unsteady dynamic inflow model were analyzed. Firstly, the effect of wake bending on induced inflow was investigated. Secondly, the six force coefficients and the transient response of blade flapping of rotor as a sinusoidal angular velocity tilting were calculated. The calculated results were analyzed to be physically reasonable.
