Ezperimental Investigation of Rotor/Wing Aerodynamic Interaction of Compound Helicopter
An experimental study of aerodynamic interaction of compound helicopter is conducted in the National Laboratory of Science and Technology on Rotorcraft Aeromechanics. The objective is to investigate the mutual aerodynamic interaction between rotor and wing in hover and low wind speed. The effects of relative position between rotor and wing, wing parameters as well as the body on the interaction are studied. The results show that significant mutual interaction exists between the rotor and the wing in hover and low wind speed. The presence of the body and the variation of wing parameters have obvious effects on the interaction of rotor to wing but weaken effects on the interaction of wing to rotor.
