Application of Set-membership Identification Method to the Helicopter Flight Dynamics Modeling
A new method based on the theory of set-membership estimation for time domain identification of model of helicopter flight dynamics has been developed. Compared with traditional identification method which is based on the least square estimation or the maximum likelihood estimation, the method improves the computational efficiency and increases robustness to noise. Identification of 6 DOF linear flight dynamics model of BO-105 helicopter in hover condition based on the new method was implemented. The obtained results show that the method can identify the model of helicopter flight dynamics accurately, rapidly and robustly.
