A DOUBLE SPECTRUM APPARATUS FOR MEASUREMENT OF CHLOROPHYLL
In order to satisfy the need of precision agriculture, a mini none-damage chlorophyll measuring apparatus is designed in the special range of red and near-infrared light with the technique of light transmission and absorption and the spectral analysis technology on the basis of comparising, analysing and utilizing the worldwide existing technology. A successful none-damage measurement of the chlorophyll content in crop vegetation has been realized by this apparatus. Corn lamina is used in calibrating the spectrometer system as well as in the contrast accuracy experiment, the result of which is close to that of Spad-502 made in Japan, in agreement with the relative value of chlorophyll obtained by traditional 80%-acetone dissolving and the spectrophotometry. Against some bad fitting points, the cause has been analyzed, and the improved measures have been brought forward.
