A CHLOROPHYLL CONTENT ESTIMATION OF RICE BASED ON VIS/NIR SPECTROSCOPY

The estimation of nitrogen status non-destructively in rice was performed using spectral reflectance with visible and near infrared reflectance (Vis/NIR) spectroscopy, all the research were carried out at experiment field in the Zhejiang University in rice booting stage. The correlation between SPAD value and nitrogen content of leaf was analyzed, and the correlation coefficient was high which can depict by the formula Y=0.2344X-5.7486. The chlorophyll content (chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, chlorophyll a+b) for the top three leaves were measured, and spectral reflectance for a total of 192 leaf samples were collected. The r, RMSEP and bias in prediction set by partial least square (PLS) were 0.8665, 3.1430 and -1.8696 for chlorophyll a, 0.8341, 1.6146 and -1.0066 for chlorophyll b, 0.8657, 5.1428 and -3.6485 for chlorophyll a+b, respectively.
