IMPLEMENTING OF FUZZY CONTROL AND TESTING ON FLOW VALVE

According to the requirements of real-time and online mixing pesticide variable spray, a flow control valve and a flow control system were designed for farm chemical flow control at vehicular variable sprayer. By employing fuzzy control algorithm, fuzzy control of farm chemical flow was implemented relying on STC12C5410AD MCU. Static tracking testing and dynamic response testing were carried out for the designed system. The results of measurement and test show that fuzzy control has good control performance on this flow valve; overshoot, response time and steady state error can all achieve control requirements. The static tracking error is ±3.0%, dynamic response state error is ±3.2%, and response time is about 0.35s.
