USE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN INTEGRATED PRODUCTION (IP) IN EUROPE: THE ALMERIAS CASE
Integrated Production is a production systems that accepted freely by farmers, assures the application of good agricultural practices, offering a quality label supported by the Ministry of Agriculture. Implementing this system requires a wide set of IT tools in order to assure its application. In this paper, we discuss shortly main characteristics of IP and the different agents that participate in their implementation, describing briefly the different software systems used.
